“Give me Anambra, and if in one year, I do not change Anambra. I will not take salary, I will not live in their government house. I will live in my car,” he said.
Former leader of the Niger Delta Militant group, Asari Dokubo has lambasted Peter Obi and his supporters, saying that he governed Anambra State for eight years and had no outstanding achievement.
In a selfmade video shared on his social media handle, Asari Dokubo condemned the comparison between president Bola Tinubu with Peter Obi, pointing out that Tinubu did better and changed Lagos while a governor, while Peter Obi in his own eight years, did nothing.
Dokubo said Anambra is a goldmine, that if given the opportunity to govern Anambra, that he would change the state within just one year in office. He also said he won’t take any salary, he won’t live in the government house, that he would rather sleep in his car and effect a positive change in Anambra.

He boasted about his contributions to development in his community and neighboring towns in Rivers State even though he is not a politician and do no have access to state wallet.
According to Dokubo, Tinubu during his time as governor of Lagos State, did not leave Lagos the way it was before 1999; that he changed Lagos and made Lagos what it is today.
He warned that people should stop comparing Tinubu to Peter Obi, that when they travel to countries like Qatar, China, Dubai etc and see things for themselves, they won’t believe anything Nigerian politicians say.
