The trending University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) student has dropped a disclaimer video, debunking claims that have been spreading online about her denying her boyfriend for a time-out with influencer and social media personality Asherkine.
In a video released on Saturday morning, the UNN 300L student said her real name is Ifeme Rebecca Iyeoma and not the Becky Chinaza that was used by the alleged boyfriend of hers.
Ifeme reiterated her earlier statement that she has no boyfriend and, in fact, has never had one in her life. She claimed not to know the Kennedy guy who made posts claiming she was his girlfriend and that she denied him because of Asherkine.

According to her, she did not lie about her relationship status and challenged the Kennedy guy to present more evidence—other than the photo, which was created with AI—that she is truly his girlfriend.
After the posts went viral, making rounds on all social media platforms, it was later discovered that the guys that made those false claims were actually lying, and none of them knew the UNN student, or was she even in a relationship with some Kennedy guy who pays her school fees.
However, the trend seems to have done its little damage, as it aroused lots of reactions on the Nigerian social media space.
