The Anambra woman at the center of a viral sex tape scandal has revealed that her daughter was behind the leak of the controversial footage involving her and a married man, Ichie Obiora.
In a recent interview, the woman explained that despite being married at the time, she developed a romantic relationship with Ichie Obiora, whom she described as kind and supportive. According to her, Obiora stood by her during a difficult time, including taking her to the hospital after her husband physically assaulted her.
“I didn’t even know him. He brought me back to life, paid my hospital bills, and walked away. Days later, he came to my shop to check on me. That’s how it all started,” she explained.
“People are judging me, but how many of them know what I have suffered? This man brought me joy when I thought it was lost forever.”

She mentioned the domestic violence she was subjected to in her ex-husband’s house, which led to their separation. How she was often thrown out of the house, forced to go sleep in her friend’s house, or run to her father’s.
“I never had peace since I got married to my ex-husband. It was one beating after another, bullying and molestation. My siblings and children can all testify. Even the daughter who exposed the video knows what I went through,” she said.
The woman denied claims that Obiora had sexual relations with both her and her daughter. She said her daughter, angry over her mother’s separation from their father and suspicious that she had moved in with Obiora, took the deleted video from her broken device, which she gave her to repair for her, and showed it to her estranged father and later leaked it online.
“It was a memory we made together — not for the world to see. I deleted it, not knowing it was still saved somewhere,” she explained.
She said the video going viral is nothing compared to the betrayal pf her own daughter. She feels hurt that her daughter would do such a thing after seeing the video. She didn’t even approach her but took it directly to her father.
“I left the phone with her because it was broken. She fixed it and found the video. But why send it to her father? What did she gain from that?” she asked painfully.
She also dismissed online rumors that Obiora’s traditional title was revoked due to the scandal, clarifying that while he may be fined, the title is held for life and cannot be withdrawn.
She maintained that she is currently living independently and not with Obiora.
The leaked sex tape has caused lots of issues for her, as her fellow market women staged an action to send her out of the market.
