In what many refer to as a pleasant moment of history, Afro music star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, had a video chat with Southeast highlife music legend Bright Chimezie.
In the video chat, which also had the presence of billionaire business tycoon Cubana Chief Priest at Davido’s residence, Davido told Bright Chimezie that his current hit track, ‘With You,’ featuring Omah Lay from his 5ive album, was inspired by one of the legend’s songs.

Davido, while playing Bright Chimezie’s 2018 track titled ‘Because of English,’ said his trending song, which is being played all over the world, was inspired by the ‘Because of English’ song. He pleaded with the legend to listen to the song.
In another video, Bright Chimezie played Davido’s hit track ‘With You’ and vibed along to it. The old singer seemed very happy and satisfied with the sound in the music, which was evidently inspired by his song. He thanked Davido for taking inspiration from his song.
Davido has turned Chimezie’s sound into a global piece. The legend also acknowledged Cubana Chief Priest, thanking him for calling.
