VeryDarkMan’s legal counsel has revealed that their firm would be taking legal action against the Guarantee Trust Bank for the inhumane treatment meted out to their client.
Adeyanju Deji, one of the lawyers of VDM, revealed it in a post on his Facebook handle. He was the one who announced that VDM has not been seen since he went to inquire about the continuous debits from his mother’s bank account.
The lawyer later made another post declaring that VDM had been located at the Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), where he was detained, and that they are working to get him out.

According to Adeyanju, VDM was locked inside the GTB exit door for over 5 mins to enable EFCC to arrest him and his friend, and when they visited the EFCC custody, VDM refused to see them or anyone.

Our lawyers led by the Head of our firm @Marvin_Omorogbe just met VDM’s friend who was arrested together with him in EFCC custody. VDM refused to come out of the cell; that he won’t see anyone. VDM was locked inside the GTB exit door for over 5mins to enable EFCC arrest him and his friend. We will be taking legal actions against GTB for the inhumane treatment meted out to our client.”
VDM’s sudden arrest by the EFCC in one of the GTB branches in Abuja has been an issue of debate in the country, with many accusing GTB for calling the EFCC on VDM.
