A Nigerian woman living in the United Kingdom, Chisom Chukwu, had a change of heart following the incident where she got furious and demanded that her husband leave her house for lying that his daughter was his niece.
She claimed that she accepts the young girl as her daughter and would treat her as one of hers.
In the new video she uploaded on TikTok, Chisom and the young girl sat side by side as she shared with her viewers that she was very sorry for how she had acted earlier upon learning who the young girl really was.

This happened shortly after the police involvement in the case; she had already apologized on the web, but she decided she was going to do it on camera.
She said,
“I have accepted Chioma as my daughter, and I’m really sorry for putting her out there. I didn’t mean to. It was out of anger, and I know that the anger was not targeted at her. I am very sorry. I’m not ashamed to say I’m sorry to her because she is my daughter. “I will treat her just like I’m going to treat my own children. I love her so much. I promise to treat her right. She’s going to stay here with me.”
