General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch A. Adeboye, has yet again sparked debates among Nigerian Christians over his prophecies and revelations.
In a video that has soon gone viral, Pastor Adeboye claimed during a sermon that God told him that a day is coming when the RCCG Governing Council will be holding their meeting on the moon.
According to him, he believes God and everything He promises him, and those that want to doubt can go ahead and doubt.
He recounted the days when he used to stay in a single-room apartment with his colleagues, and God told him he would own a city, for which his colleagues laughed after he shared the revelation with them. But now, they can all see what God has done for him.

The statement has spurred Nigerians into debate, especially with the trend of Nigerian clergymen making huge prophetic claims and crediting it to God.
Same Pastor Adeboye had once claimed that he drank tea with God. He also said another time that God suspended weather for him when he visited the United States of America.
Reacting to the video, Larry Billz Martins said;
“Abeg go sit down one place old man.. during GEJ you protested now is tinubu you can’t protest 🪧 see how naive and gullible you are”
Andy Ucheakolam Onwuma reacted saying;
“His god is relying on Elon Musk for a governing council meeting in the moon.”
Kolly Wood said;
“Nonsense, he will soon start asking his gullible members to start donating money, so that they can go to the moon. It takes millions of Naira for one person to go to the moon, even if you have the money, as a Christian, why can’t you hold the meeting in your locality, and use the money to feed the poor”
Zaga Pajesto remarked;
