Former first lady Patience Jonathan has been called out by Mr. Macaroni after he learns that 15 domestic staff have been in jail since 2019 over missing jewelry.
He came across the report on X from Sahara Reporters, where he must have retweeted the posts and lamented the injustice that plagues the society, where the rich hold a strong monopoly over the poor.
Mr. Macaroni also wondered if the former first lady still remembers that she had left these 15 individuals to rot in jail since 2019. He stated that the rich continue to abuse their power by locking up people who cannot fight for themselves.
Sources had told Sahara Reporters that since 2019, former First Lady Patience Jonathan locked up about 16 of her domestic staff in Okaka Prison for allegedly stealing her jewellery, without first allowing a competent court of law to try them and sentence them.

“Some years ago, TECH4JUSTICE was able to provide legal services for them, which they have been doing ever since. But since the current Chief Judge came on board, she has been deliberately dragging the case on Patience Jonathan’s instructions. She is a stooge of the former First Lady,” one of the sources said.
Mr. Marcaroni reacting to the news, wrote:
“The injustice in this country is so painful!!! According to this report, these men and women have been locked up for over five years without a court conviction!!
Does Madam Patience Jonathan even remember that they are still in prison??? We must stand against this pattern of abusing power that allows rich or influential people lock up others because they cannot speak or fight for themselves. By law, they are innocent until proven guilty!”
