In an unusual turn of events, Babloo, a laborer from Uttar Pradesh’s Sant Kabir Nagar district, arranged his wife, Radhika, for marriage to her lover, Vishal Kumar, after discovering their affair.
Babloo and Radhika had been married since 2017; presently they have two children, ages 7 and 9. Babloo, who is always away for work, found out about his wife’s year-and-a-half-month relationship with Vishal Kumar through family members.

Despite attempts to reconcile, Radhika continued the affair, concerned for his safety, especially after recent incidents where spouses were harmed due to extramarital affairs, like the case of a woman and her lover who were accused of murdering her husband and concealing his body in a cement-filled drum, Babloo decided to get the woman to marry her lover.
He did this in court, where he legally solemnized their union in court and conducted a traditional ceremony at a temple, where they exchanged garlands and vows. Babloo retained custody of the children, which was also agreed to by Radhika.

The incident has sparked discussions on morality, personal choices, and legal implications, with opinions divided between admiration and questions of Babloo’s maturity.
