Following Bayer Leverkusen’s 2-1 victory on Saturday, the young Nigerian striker, Victor Boniface was involved in a ghastly car accident on Sunday morning. October 20 2024. According to sources, the accident occurred while he was on his way to the Frankfurt Airport to pick up a friend.
The crash was quite severe, with Boniface’s car sustaining significant damage, arguably beyond repair. Photos and videos shared on social media showed the severity of the wrecked vehicle.

Although, despite the severity of the accident, the 23 year old Nigerian international miraculously escaped with only minor injuries, primarily a bloody scrape on his hand. He was of course, taken to a nearby hospital after the incident for proper medical attention, but he has since taken to his social media accounts to express his gratitude to everyone for their care and support.
