Nigerian gospel singer and song writer, Sola Allyson, has lambasted Nigerian women for always demanding things from their boyfriends in a viral video.
She noted that expecting men to do everything for them, spend money on them, and gift them money all the time has become a norm for Nigerian women.
She said most Nigerian ladies, once they start dating a guy, they start having problems and want the guy to solve them for them. Either their phone spoils or something happens.
Comparing her time as a young lady with women of today, Allyson said she never liked collecting money from her boyfriend.

She recalled a time she dated a vet rich guy and said if she needed N500 and her boyfriend gave her N5000, that she would take N500 and return his N4500 to him.
“You start dating someone today; next tomorrow your phone has spoiled.
“During my generation, anyway, I don’t know, but as for me, if you even want to give me money, I won’t collect it.
“I was once in a relationship where my boyfriend was very rich. When he wants to give me money, I won’t collect it. On the days when I need money, if it’s N500 I need and he gives me N5000, I will remove the N500 and give him his N4500 back,” she stated.
Different reactions trailed her video, with many Nigerian ladies disagreeing with her.
