The Rivers State Police Command has arrested a man identified as Michael for allegedly stabbing his friend, Uchenna, to death over a missing phone.
The tragic incident occurred last Wednesday on Egede Street, Mile 2, Diobu, in Port Harcourt.
According to reports, Uchenna had visited Michael at his residence when Michael discovered his mobile phone was missing. He accused Uchenna of theft, leading to a heated argument.

During the altercation, Michael allegedly picked up a jackknife and stabbed Uchenna in the stomach. The victim was rushed to a hospital but was pronounced dead.
Police spokesperson Grace Iringe-Koko confirmed the arrest, stating that the case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department for further investigation.
