Apostle Solomon Oduro, founder of Solomon Oduro Ministries in Ghana, has officially announced the dissolution of his marriage to Rev. Charlotte Oduro, a well-known marriage counselor.
In a press release issued on Monday, February 10, 2025, Apostle Oduro stated that the decision was reached after extensive prayer, discussion, and careful consideration. He cited irreconcilable differences as the primary reason for the split.
“After much prayer, discussion, and careful consideration, irreconcilable differences have necessitated this move,” the statement read.
The release further revealed that the couple had been separated for the past three years and officially ended their marriage through traditional means last year.

Apostle Oduro, describing himself as “a man of God, a public figure, and a role model to many,” emphasized his duty to formally communicate the news to prevent misinformation, speculation, or unnecessary controversy.
“I humbly request that this sensitive transition be met with understanding,” he said.
Rev. Charlotte Oduro gained public attention in 2022 for her controversial advice to women regarding infidelity. Speaking on Accra-based Okay FM with host Abieku Santana, she encouraged wives not to leave their husbands over extramarital affairs.
“When your husband returns home from cheating, let him settle, give him good sex and food. It’s not right for anyone to cheat. Yes, it is wrong, but we have all done wrong, so we should be human. Let’s think thoroughly before we judge,” she stated.
She further advised women to avoid constant complaints or criticisms when they suspect their husbands of infidelity, urging them instead to be more considerate and understanding.
While neither Apostle Oduro nor Rev. Charlotte Oduro has disclosed further details about their separation, the announcement has sparked discussions among their followers and the public.
