Renowned gospel singer Paul Nwokocha has confirmed the end of his second marriage, barely a year after tying the knot with his wife, Goodness.
Nwokocha married Goodness in September 2023, just a month after his first marriage to Alice ended. During their wedding, he praised his new wife in songs and highlighted that she was from his hometown, leading many to assume they shared a deep connection.
At the time, he defended his swift remarriage, stating, “I decided to marry my new wife, Goodness, one month after my ex-wife packed out of our matrimonial home because the Holy Bible said Paul Nwokocha should not be alone.”
However, the union has now collapsed, with the gospel singer citing infidelity as the reason for the split. In a recent video, he alleged that his wife was involved in inappropriate behavior, including sending explicit photos to other men.

“I married a wife, not a prostitute, so I owe no one an apology for this,” he stated firmly.
He also addressed critics who questioned his decision, saying, “Stop calling me names. He who wears the shoe knows how it pinches.”
Nwokocha made it clear that he has no tolerance for immoral behavior, regardless of the length of the marriage. “No matter how long I have been married to you, if I find out you are engaging in evil, you are leaving my house,” he concluded.
The news of his second failed marriage has sparked widespread reactions, with many weighing in on his rapid remarriage and subsequent separation.
