Portuguese football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has boldly claimed that he is the “most complete player ever” in the history of football.

In a recent interview with journalist Edu Aguirre of El Chiringuito, Ronaldo was asked if he considers himself the greatest footballer of all time.

While he acknowledged that fans may have different preferences, including Lionel Messi, Pele, and Diego Maradona, he insisted that no player matches his completeness on the pitch.

“I think I’m the most complete football player that has ever existed. People could like Messi, Maradona or Pele, and I respect it, but I’m the most complete. I’m the best player in football history. I haven’t seen anyone better than me in football history, and I’m saying truth from my heart,” Ronaldo stated.

Currently playing for Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League (SPL), Ronaldo boasts an illustrious career, having won five Ballon d’Or awards and numerous domestic and international trophies. His achievements include titles in the Champions League, Premier League, La Liga, and Serie A.

Despite his extensive trophy collection, the FIFA World Cup remains the only major accolade missing from his career. However, he led Portugal to victory in Euro 2016 and the 2019 Nations League, cementing his legacy as one of the sport’s greatest figures.

Some time ago, Ronaldo claimed the Saudi Pro League is more tense, competitive and interesting than the France Lique 1.

It is true that the Saudi Pro League gained global notice with Ronaldo’s move to Al-Nassr. And since then, the League has continued to be on international sports media. However, it is not the same with Messi who moved to Major League Soccer in the United States.

The Portuguese Legend has continued to score more goals in Saudi, and now has 923 goals from 1261 games, 87 of those goals for Al-Nassr in 95 games.
