Jaden Smith waltzed onto the 67th Grammys Red Carpet early on Sunday night in a demure black Louis Vuitton suit with, well, a castle on his head. Yes, a castle.
It is not clear why the Smith family scion (son of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith) had the regal headpiece plopped on, but he does have a habit of carting the most peculiar accessories at these sorts of events.
After all, he carried his own severed hair at the 2017 Met Gala. This time, his palatial headpiece was sculpted by Dora Abodi, a designer who (and this is not a joke) hails from Transylvania.
On the Abodi website, the “Wearable Vampire Castle Headpiece” was selling for 4,500 euros (about $4,600), and at around 6:30 p.m. EST, there was still one in stock.

Per the site, “the inhabitants of the ABODI Vampire Castle are warriors of legend — fearless, bold and eternal.”Abodi, shrewdly, was capitalizing quickly on the widespread “what the heck-ness” of Smith wearing the castle on his head.
The “About” section of its site is already updated to note that Smith “made waves and turned heads on the red carpet” at this Grammy Awards.
Netizens have had shared their thoughts concerning his outfit.
