Tems beat Davido, Burna Boy, Chris Brown and Asake for the Best African Music Perfomance award.

Tems becomes the first Nigerian female artiste to win two Grammy awards, and the first African female singer to do so.

On collecting her Grammy award, she expressed her gratitude to God, her mom and her team. She was too excited she had to fight the words out of her throat.

She is iconic and legendary. Her music is unique, as is the voice she uses in delivering them. Masterpiece!

Davido extended his congratulations to Tems for winning the award. One cannot say if he is truly happy, or sad that he has not been able to win a Grammy yet. But it is what it is.
