Former Aviation Minister of Nigeria, Femi Fani-Kayode, has taken to Instagram to respond to a controversial statement by UK Conservative Party leader Kemi Badenoch.
Badenoch had reportedly criticized Nigeria during several interviews, including the Nigerian police, as was reported by Igbo Tv, and was recently quoted as saying, “I don’t want Britain to be poor like Nigeria. My wealthy family became poorer there because of terrible government.”
In a passionate rebuttal, Fani-Kayode criticized Badenoch’s remarks, stating that he would choose to live in Nigeria over the UK despite Nigeria’s economic challenges. He wrote:
“I would rather live in ‘poor’ Nigeria than in ‘rich’ Britain where men marry men, women marry women, homosexuality and bisexuality is encouraged, paedophilia is celebrated… at least we hold fast to our Christian and Muslim values, we know God, and we will not burn in hell for eternity.”

Fani-Kayode accused Badenoch of despising her Nigerian roots and described her as someone who caters to white supremacists for acceptance. He went on to label her a “self-hating Aunty Jemima” and criticized her for what he called her contempt for Nigeria’s people and heritage.
He ended his post with a call for Badenoch to be declared “persona non grata” in Nigeria, claiming she has insulted the dignity of the Nigerian people.
The post has stirred intense reactions on social media, with some supporting Fani-Kayode’s sentiments and many others rejecting his claims with mockery. Badenoch has not yet commented on Fani-Kayode’s statement.

I would rather live in “poor” Nigeria than “rich” Britain where knife-crimes and stabbings are rife, Zionists are worshipped, genocide-enablers and war criminals are leaders and a right-wing racist political party is led by a psychologically-disturbed, self- hating Aunty Jemima and female Uncle Tom who suffers from low self-esteem, who hates the color of her own skin, who despises her land of birth, who has contempt for her Nigerian heritage, who takes pride in being described as the proverbial “house n*gger” and who takes pleasure in consistently denigrating 250 million Nigerian people just to please the white supremacists and neo-Nazis in her new-found country.
Nigeria may be poor but at least we are not subject to all these vices and afflictions: at least we hold fast to our Christian and Muslim values, we know God and we will not burn in hell for eternity for trying to replace Him with our accursed arrogance, insolence, pride and vanity and our insatiable love and celebration of wealth and power.
Surely it is time to declare this insufferable creature persona non grata and stop it from coming to our shores.
