American hippop great, William Leonard Robert II, ppopularly known as Rick Ross has fuelled reactions after naming only Davido as his favorite artists from Nigeria.
In a video the star shared on Instagram, he listed names of musicians he referred to as “future icons” in the whole of Africa.
Among the names was Davido, whom Rick Ross said he liked, that he was a future legend, making great strides in the industry.
The hippop star was in Cape Town, South Africa when he made the video, mentioning other African artistes he admired, including DJ Mekzy, Young Wise, Young Marley, Alpha P, Nasty C, Focalistic, Stone Bwoy, etc.

He encouraged Davido and the others to continue the good works they were doing, and continue to build the bridge to America to Africa. He specifically promised to meet with Davido.
