A woman identified as Ella @AbiaPrincess_X on X has been plunged into grief after her daughter of two years old did not return home from school alive.
The woman took to social media to share the heartrending news and demanded justice from the Lagos State Government for her little child.
According to aggrieved woman, the school, Smiley School International Sangotedo Lagos Island, lied that the school was shut down for maintenance, whereas, it was her daughter’s unfortunate demise that led to the school’s shutting down.

The daughter was found dead in the school’s swimming pool, however, the mother does not believe the daughter died in the swimming pool, as she could not imagine her little daughter climb over the fencing around the swimming pool.
She said they later confirmed the daughter died from electrocution, but they made it look like she had drowned in the swimming pool.
“Dear Lagos State Government, our daughter of 2years old went to school yesterday and did not return alive,” she wrote
“How do you have a pool without proper monitoring? They lied she drowned in the pool but we have been able to find out it’s Electrocution, and they dropped her in the pool to look as if it was drowning.”
