Speed Darlington was first arrested in October, and later in November 2024 while performing at a show in Owerri, and has since been in Police custody, despite the court giving order for his immediate release in December 2024.
His counsels had continued to disclose information about Akpi’s condition in police custody, plus how he was being remanded in a SAZ prison facility with hardened criminals and Boko Haram.
They both accused Burna Boy of using his influence to oppress and victimize their client, without due recourse for justice.
