
Alax Evalsam, popularly known as the “Fish Pie Guy,” who went viral after a video of him advertising his fish pies with a unique chant “Nawa o, some people dem too do o,” has come out to reveal that he is going through a lot, that most of money people claim he received were not true.
During an interview session with an Instagram content creator @mrkasa, the fish pie guy claimed he was used and that he has gained nothing from his popularity, that even as a celebrity, he is having issues and going through a lot.
He also mentioned that the deal he signed with Eko Hotel has not been that good, since he is unable to do what the agreement said, being that he is not a comedian, but a chef, decorator and event manager.

Evalsam disclosed that the only way he makes money is through skits, when people invite him for skits and pay him, asides that, he isn’t gaining anything from his popularity.
He also addressed the claims people make that he is ungrateful and stingy, stating that he is not ungrateful, but that he is actually not enjoying anything.
“Shishi, I didn’t make. The only time I make money is when I am called for skits. Most people used me, if you come to my shop now, it’s so dry.
Being a celebrity isn’t easy. I’m a celebrity, yet I’m going through a lot. You can say I’m greedy or ungrateful, but I’m saying the truth, I’m not enjoying anything,” Evalsam said.
He said people have been making money off him, with numerous Facebook accounts created with his name, while his original account was hacked.
