“…for the past few days I have not been myself,” VDM says.
Nigeria’s Human Rights Activist and Social media influencer, Martins Otse popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM) has announced that his Non Governmental Organization’s website was hacked and N180 million diverted.
VDM revealed that for the past few days he has not been himself, that someone hacked into the NGO website and N180 million is missing, that he doesn’t how they did it.
He made this known in a video at the airport, while sitting with Officer Joe, where he said he was waiting for his flight to Jos.
According to him, they were able to track the persons, and have arrested one of them, that is why they are heading to Jos, the capital of Plateau State.

He also said N20 million has been recovered, and what’s remaining is N160 million which was being diverted to another account.
“Alright, so, I’m at the airport, I’ll be honest with you guys, for the past few days I have not been myself. I am here with officer Joe, and we are going to Jos.

“The NGO money, somebody hacked into the NGO website and I don’t know how they did it, and N180 million is missing,” VDM said.
“But thank God we have tracked the person, and we are on our way to Jos. They have arrested one, that’s why am even saying it now, I’m excited. And an account has been put on PND, so the account now has 20 million, 160 million has been diverted to another account.
“So we are currently going to see how I will get the money back. I just want to update you people. I even had to shutdown the app and put it on maintenance, so that people will not really see what’s going on.
“But le me just come out plain and tell everybody that this is what is going on. But hopefully we could get the money back,” he said.
