A lady who owns the handle @smile_wholesalefoods on Tiktok has aroused sympathetic emotions from followers after she shared an emotional video.
The business lady in the video while weeping, said a customer she was being nice to, stole her phone while she was trying to get his orders.
She poured her out, saying the customer stole her Samsung phone, just because she was nice to him.
She prayed curses upon the man, that all her pains for the year would fall on him.

“To the man that came to my store today and stole my phone simply because I was being nice—you stole my Samsung. You asked me for something, I gave it to you, and you stole my phone.
“All my pains this year, as long as that phone is with you or you sell it and eat the money, all my pains will fall on you. I was just being nice,” she said.
Under the comments, a lot of people expressed their compassion for her and tried to console her.
The incident raises a question, will the issue of phone theft in Nigeria ever come to an end?
Recall that earlier, Igbo Tv had reported that according to a survey by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) over 25 million phones have been lost to thieves between March 2023 and April 2024.
This is something almost70 per cent of Nigerians have experienced in Nigeria. Losing of one’s phone has become inevitable in Nigeria. People lost more than one phones in a year.
This shows the level at which morality is dwindling in Nigeria, a country with high religious inclination.
