Man Returns From Europe After 20 Years, Finds Unfinished House Despite Wife’s Photos of Finished Home
A Nigerian man has shared his heartbreaking story after returning from Europe, where he lived for 20 years. Despite sending money regularly to his wife to build a house in Nigeria, he came back to find the house unfinished.
The story gained attention on the social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter.
In a viral post, the man was seen on his knees, begging for help. He explained that while he was in Europe, his wife frequently sent him photos of what appeared to be a fully built and furnished house.
However, upon his return, he discovered that the house was still incomplete. Feeling betrayed, he reported the matter to the police, leading to his wife’s arrest.
Part of his emotional plea reads: “Please help me, come to my rescue. After 20 years in Europe, I have my wife money to build house for me, look at what she built. She always send me photos of new house which she already completed and furnished but see what she built for me.”
“I’ve arrested her, she’s at the station.”
