A week ago, the internet was plunged into turmoil after a lady named Jane Doe through her attorney, Tony Buzbee accused American Hip pop legend Shawn Carter, popularly known as Jay-Z of sexual assault.
The accuser claimed that Jay-Z alongside Sean “Diddy” Combs raped her in the presence of other celebrities when she was 13, at an MTV Music Video Awards after-party in 2000.
The claim had soon made its mark on the music star, as people began questioning his dignity, his wealth and how he’s achieved everything he has today.
Jay-Z had denied the allegations on his social media platform and called it a blackmail. On Friday, he told NBC News that the incident didn’t happen, yet Tony Buzbee, the victim’s lawyer filed it in court and doubled down in the press.

Carter was quoted saying; “True justice is coming. We fight from victory, not for victory. This was over before it began. This 1-800 lawyer doesn’t realize it yet, but, soon.”
As of Saturday, the accuser and alleged victim of sexual assault, during an interview with NBC News admitted she lied about her claims of Jay-Z and Sean “Diddy” raping her.
Although the fact that she was sexually assaulted remains, Jay-Z and Puff Daddy were not the ones.
The lady revealed to the NBC that there are inconsistencies in her claims, with that of her dad, whom she had earlier claimed drove from home to pick her up the night of the incident.
Her dad could not remember driving from home at any time in 2000, to pick her up from the location for which she claimed she was assaulted. Which would have been a more than five-hour drive from their home to the location.
The father of the woman claims if such a thing had occurred, it would probably be something to never forget. According to report, he was quoted saying; “I feel like I would remember that, and I don’t. I have a lot going on, but I mean, that’s something that would definitely stick in my mind.”
Also, the location she claimed the incident occurred after findings is different from the one in the pictures of Jay-Z and Diddy that same night.
The musician Benji Madden, the woman claimed she spoke with at the MTV Video Music Awards afterparty in 2000 according to findings were not present that night at the event, both Benji and his brother Joel were in New York at the time.
Her earlier allegations and later admitting she lied has raised concerns about the issue of women who have falsely accused men of rape, and had them serve prison terms.
Many have attacked her for being selfish, while some believe she lied about the lying, that Jay-Z must have influenced it.
