“The next Election won’t be the Same”, says Peter Obi

In a video of about eight seconds making rounds on Twitter (X), former Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi have declared that the next general elections won’t be the same. That is, won’t be as it was in 2023.

“The next election won’t be the same. I can tell you, the next election won’t be the same,” he was recorded saying.

The 2023 Presidential Candidate that flew the Labour Party flag said this holding a mic in an undisclosed location.

This is coming after his meeting last weekend with Atiku in the former Vice President’s home in Adamawa.

Igbo Tv recalls reporting that Peter Obi on Saturday had visited and had a breakfast with his former ally and partner Atiku Abubakar in the latter’s house in Adamawa.

A meeting which sparked debated and raised questions across the country, as Peter Obi had been known to betray his friend by running for the Presidency alongside Atiku, which they both lost to Tinubu.

For a long while, the two have not been seen together in public, it became reasonable to deduce that the friendship they once had, had gone sour because of their ambitions in the previous general elections, which saw them splitting votes that could have been whole, and losing to Tinubu.

It is true that, if both had run the election as partners, the chances of APC winning would have been very slim.

Now that Peter Obi is saying, next election which is coming up in 2027 won’t be the same, what might he be implying?

Are we expecting another collaboration between the two former partners in an attempt to overthrow the APC government and administration of Tinubu, which Nigerians believe have failed them?

This is what some Nigerians have to say on Twitter (X):

@Mazipita
Rig. If that the only way to get you there.. Being a gentleman won’t make u a President. Rigging that election will.

@asababoi2man
It won’t.. but let me sound a clear warning.. we are not voting for opportunists under PO.. we are going to be all out for PO alone

@MayJaYBaE
The next election is going to be one of the toughest in Nigeria history if not the toughest

@askiaz__
The next election will still be the same, your chances are high after 2027 – Buhari contested twice and lost before he became president.
