“Have you been told by a Doctor “ There’s Nothing more we can do at this time “ ? And you still feel like you’re dying ?- Actress Omotola shares how she Survived ill-health, thanks God for Successful Surgery.
The veteran Nollywood actress, singer and movie producer Omotola Jalade Ekeinde popular known as Omo Sexy took to her Instagram page to thank God for her life and good health and urged her friends and followers to join her in giving thanks to God, not just for life, but for good health.
In the caption of the video where shots of her in the hospital were taken, she narrated how her health has been for the past days, and how she was taken in for surgery, where her Gall-gladder was successfully operated.
She revealed that she has been having series of pains on her back and chest that would hit her intensely and leave the next day, for which she was rushed to the ER twice.
The Doctor according to her, had checked her blood pressure which was high and acid reflux on the first day, and put her on drip on the second day, telling her to go home and manage.
She wrote; “As you know by now, I had been getting my Films ready and After the day’s edit, I proceeded for the Academy Voting Member’s viewing of the Gladiator 11 …. but all through the viewing , I could not sit up … you see , I had been rushed to the ER twice that week already for back – chest pains that would come intensely and leave the Next day ! The doctors were checking for my now Hbp and intense Acid reflux ! On the second admission the Doctor gave all the Drips , blood work and sent me home to manage ? Luckily it left …”
However, on the day of the Academy Voting Member’s viewing of her film the Gladiator 11, she experienced more severe pains which made her run back home. She said she was vomiting all through the night, and the next morning, she had a dilapidating stomach pain.
She was wheeled to the Emergency for the third time and was taken straight for a CT, Ultrasound and MRI scan, where the Doctor offered that she has to undergo surgery to remove her Gall-gladder, and even admitted the pains she has been going through was mild compared to what she was really suffering from.
“So the Fight for my Life began,” she wrote, as she returned to give all the Glory to God.
She continued, saying; “So on this day , whether you’re in the US or not , there’s so much to thank God for , take some time to join in and give Thanks.
“Not only for the gift of Life, but the gift of good health. The gift of a complete body or a sane mind to even dream of a better day !”
