Reasons why I left Winners Chapel to Start my own Ministry – Bishop David Abioye

Bishop David Abioye states reasons why he left Winners’ Chapel to start his own ministry.

He (Bishop David Abioye) was the Vice President of Living Faith Church a.k.a Winners’ Chapel, founded by Bishop David Oyedepo, but retired some days ago, before starting his new ministry.

During the launching of his new ministry called Hour of Revival, at the Abuja National Stadium on Saturday, Bishop David stated that his leaving of Winners’ Chapel to start a new ministry is divinely ordained.

According to him, it is not a personal mission, but that which has been ordained by God. He also urged participants to pursue personal revival as a means to achieve collective revival.

Bishop David also prayed that through the new ministry participants would encounter spiritual breakthrough that would affect the people around them.

The occasion had lots of people in attendance, both believers and non-believers.

One Israel Ifeanyi reacting to the news said; “There is nothing wrong in starting your own church business . You’re highly qualified to own your own.”

Another person Josiah Ikwulono reacted saying; “Congratulations to Bishop Abieoye. May your business umpire triumph over that of oyedepo who sacked you in the name of retiring you to pave way for his children to inherit his business umpire unopposed.”

Calis Amarachukwu said; “No need to explain sir… we understand… sky is too wide for every bird to fly… the industry is too lucrative to let go…”

Several Nigerians congratulated the Bishop on his new ministry, and wished him growth and God’s direction.
