Pregnant wife bursts into tears as husband refuses to go beg neighbour Jollof rice
A pregnant woman was left in tears after her husband refused to approach their neighbour to ask for some Jollof rice she suddenly craved.
The incident, captured in a video that has since gone viral on social media, shows the expectant mother becoming emotional after smelling the aroma of Jollof rice being prepared next door.
According to the clip, the husband explained that he had already prepared soup at home for them to eat. However, his wife insisted that the only thing she wanted was the Jollof rice she could smell coming from their neighbour’s kitchen.
She reportedly told her husband she could not go herself because she didn’t want the neighbours to know she was the one craving the food.
“If I go now, dem go know say na me wan chop am,” she said.
When her husband still refused to go, she became visibly upset, sat down, and began to cry.
