Troops from the 6 Brigade, Nigerian Army, under Operation ZAFIN WUTA, have pulled off a successful security operation in Takum Local Government Area of Taraba State. The mission came just in time, as locals in Chanchanji had raised urgent concerns about potential attacks during the critical harvest period — a time when farmers rely on being able to work their lands without fear.

They carried out simultaneous clearance operations across several villages including Sabe, lyongaem, and Tse-Tseve, successfully flushing out bandits and restoring a sense of safety in the area.
