The Enugu State Government has commended Finland for arresting Simon Ekpa, the pro-Biafran agitator.
The Government through the Secretary to the State Government (SSG) prof. Chidiebere Onyia said the arrest was in line with the Governor Peter Mbah’s led administration, and promised to provide evidence of atrocities caused by the said Simon Ekpa to aid in his trial and conviction.
The State Government according to prof. Onyia holds Simon Ekpa as “a common criminal, con man, and terrorist, who has no interest of Igbo people at heart.”
That Simon Ekpa is a murderer and fraudster who derives pleasure in killing his own people, while hiding in Finland.
The SSG also mentioned that Ekpa has created a “siege climate and mentality in the South-east, destroying lives, property, and the Igbo trademark of entrepreneurship and hard work.”
That Simon Ekpa “thrives on manipulating, exploiting, and extorting the people on the pretext of fighting for their interest and for the restoration of Biafra.”
The Government of Enugu State are pleased that his arrest will strengthen peace and security in all part of South east Nigeria.
Recall that Igbo Tv had earlier reported that Simon Ekpa, the pro-Biafran agitator was arrested in Finland with four others for allegedly funding and encouraging terrorism in the South eastern part of Nigeria through his social media channels.
