It was a pleasure to preside over the swearing- in of the recalled Commissioners and Special Advisers, and to welcome them back to the State Executive Council with a renewed charge to serve Ekiti people with diligence, integrity and accountability.As I reminded them, public office is a call to responsibility.
Our people expect hard work, creativity, transparency and results. The last three years have shown what we can achieve when we work together with commitment.
We have made strong progress in infrastructure, agriculture, education, health and economic development, but there is still much more to do.This new phase demands greater focus and dedication.
I have returned all recalled members to their former portfolios so they can hit the ground running without delay. Election season is approaching, and this is the time for absolute loyalty, teamwork and presence in our communities. Our duty remains to deliver good governance and to continue earning the trust of Ekiti people.
I congratulate all members of the reconstituted Executive Council and urge them to justify the confidence reposed in them. Together, we will consolidate our gains and keep moving Ekiti forward on the path of shared prosperity.
