A new video circulating online has stirred confusion after it showed Nigerian music icon Innocent “2Baba” Idibia being led away in handcuffs by UK police officers.
The short clip, shared by blogger Tosin Silverdam, captured the singer outside a store in London before officers escorted him away. For now, UK authorities have not confirmed the circumstances surrounding the incident.
This comes shortly after another video emerged showing a woman believed to be his partner, Natasha, raising her voice at him inside a London shop. Although the exact cause of their disagreement remains unclear, people close to the couple have shared some accounts of what allegedly happened during their trip.

According to an account by Daddy Freeze, the pair had been arguing since their departure from Nigeria. Witnesses claimed Natasha became upset at the airport after fans gave 2Baba more attention. The quarrel reportedly continued during their arrival at Gatwick and later in the bus heading to their hotel in Central London.
It was also said that the promoter travelling with them had handed 2Baba $3,000 for personal expenses, and the singer requested that $1,000 be sent to his son in Abuja. Natasha allegedly insisted the entire amount be given to her.
When the disagreement grew tense, she reportedly demanded an apology from him. Things then escalated, leading to an incident where she injured her own hand and also left 2Baba with a minor cut. Police officers, not knowing the full story, were said to have assumed 2Baba caused the injury and detained him.
