JUST IN: "In the days ahead, we will Kidnap President Tinubu" — Terrorist Commander Brags About Kidnapping Governors and the President (Video)

An alleged terrorist commander has issued a chilling threat, boasting that his group will soon begin abducting military officers, state governors, and even President Bola Tinubu.

In a video obtained by SaharaReporters, the armed militant (dressed in what looked like a Nigerian military jacket) bragged about the recent kidnappings of schoolchildren in Kebbi and Niger states. He mocked the government’s security efforts, insisting that arrests of some of their members had done nothing to weaken their resolve.

“We kidnapped students in Kebbi and Niger. Next time, we will kidnap Nigerian military officers and take them to the forest,” he said. Pointing to the jacket he wore, he added, “This belongs to a soldier. In the days ahead, we will kidnap a governor, we will kidnap the President.”

The commander went on to claim that Nigerians should rely on God rather than the government for protection, declaring that authorities had failed in their responsibility to safeguard citizens.

The video surfaced less than a week after terrorists attacked St. Mary’s Papiri Private Catholic Secondary School in Agwara Local Government Area of Niger State. Dozens of students and teachers were taken after armed men stormed the school between 2:00 am and 3:00 am. Community leaders and local officials confirmed that more than 100 people may have been abducted.

The assault followed another attack five days earlier at the Maga Comprehensive Girls’ Secondary School in Kebbi State, where about 25 female students were kidnapped and at least one staff member was killed.
