Chidimma Returns Home With a Reception That Got People Talking
The Miss Universe 1st Runner-up Chidimma Adetshina, who represented Nigeria in the competition has landed Nigeria.
She was warmly welcomed with a grand reception which many believe was not grand enough.
On arrival, she received a pack of flower and was ushered by a cultural band performance.
She was all smiles and appeared elated. While speaking, she said she did not believe she would go that far, becoming the number one runner up in the Miss Universe contest.
She appeared in a pink suit on her arrival with beautiful shoes, walking like a Queen, her sarge hung diagonally across her body, crown sat majestically on her head, as she made her way into the hall where a seat was reserved for her, hugging and receiving compliments from well-wishers.
But the reception has been a point of discussion among fans who believe it was rather too poor and unfitting of the second most beautiful woman in the world.
Fans bashed the organisers of the reception, some went ahead to say they could have allowed her to rest first before planning something better by weekend.
One other lady expressed her disappointment in what she called nonsense. That with all Chidimma’s effort in raising the Nigerian flag, that is all she could get as a welcome.
