The Federal Government has published the shortlist for the Computer-Based Test (CBT) in the ongoing recruitment for the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Immigration Service, Fire Service, and Correctional Service.
In a statement released on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, in Abuja, the Secretary of the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB), retired Maj.-Gen. Abdulmalik Jubril, confirmed the development and warned applicants to avoid fake portals or agents.
According to Jubril, candidates who applied for any of the four paramilitary agencies should visit the official CDCFIB recruitment portal from Thursday, October 30, to check if they have been shortlisted and to access details about their CBT venue, date, and time.

He emphasized that the entire recruitment process is free and transparent, cautioning job seekers not to fall victim to fraudulent individuals posing as recruitment agents.
Over 1.9 million Nigerians reportedly applied for the recruitment before the portal closed on August 11, 2025.
The CDCFIB restated its commitment to fairness and merit, assuring Nigerians that the selection process would reflect integrity and equal opportunity for all qualified applicants.
