Tragedy struck in the early hours of Friday, October 17, 2025, when a man identified as Sanusi Tinau, aged 30, was allegedly beaten to death by a husband for attempting to entice his wife in Lumbu community, Ningi Local Government Area of Bauchi State.
According to reports by security analyst Zagazola Makama, the incident occurred around 2:09 a.m. when the deceased allegedly visited the suspect’s residence with the intention of luring his wife. Upon discovering Tinau’s presence, the enraged husband reportedly attacked him, beating him severely until he lost consciousness.

Police operatives, who arrived shortly after, evacuated the victim to the General Hospital, Ningi, where a medical doctor confirmed him dead on arrival.
The suspect, whose identity is yet to be made public, reportedly fled the scene after the incident. Law enforcement authorities have since launched a manhunt to track him down.
Confirming the development, police sources said investigations are ongoing to determine the full circumstances surrounding the case and ensure the suspect is brought to justice.
