Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, was seen engaging in serious altercation at the Port Harcourt International Airport, as he later urged the government to outlaw prank videos.

In the 53-second clip making rounds online, Portable (dressed in beige) is seen trying to confront an unidentified individual as security officials struggle to restrain him amid chaos. The scene, filled with shouts, shoving, and onlookers filming, shows the singer being escorted to a waiting car while someone nearby brandishes what appears to be a belt.

Reacting to the incident in a video posted on Instagram, Portable claimed he was attacked by what he described as “death pranksters”—people who stage fake deaths and extreme stunts for online fame.

“Those people came to prank me. They were death pranksters. It almost turned into a cultist fight,” he said in a mix of English and Yoruba, adding that the prank could have escalated dangerously.

The “Zazu Zeh” crooner accused the pranksters and certain bloggers of trying to tarnish his image. “Make government stop all those prankers and fake bloggers wey dey spoil person name just for small fame,” he wrote.

Portable, who has had several run-ins with law enforcement in the past, emphasized that his faith in God keeps him strong despite repeated controversies.
