A late-night robbery attempt was foiled after armed men tried to break into a shop but were startled by a voice from the security system.
The incident, which occurred around 3 a.m., was captured on CCTV and later shared online. The footage shows the robbers approaching the shop with weapons attempting to break the keys and force themselves into the shop before abruptly fleeing when they realized someone was monitoring them live through the surveillance system.

The security personnel on duty at the time noticed the intrusion in real-time and started shouting “thief, thief, I dey come for you,” through the CCTV audio system, which scared the robbers away.
The clip addresses the significance of CCTV and the need for businesses to invest in it and well-trained security hands to deter rising cases of burglary and robbery.
