The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has announced a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest of a Nigerian man, Olumide Adebiyi Adediran, wanted in the United States for financial crimes.
Adediran became a fugitive in December 2001 after fleeing the Central District of Illinois just before his federal trial was set to begin. He faces charges of bank fraud, identification document fraud, and credit card fraud—offenses tied to large-scale financial scams.

Authorities said his escape violated the conditions of his release, making him a high flight risk and further complicating his case.
The FBI is urging anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts to come forward, assuring that all tips will be handled with confidentiality.
