Governor Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi State has launched a transformative scholarship program that has already sent 204 students to the United Kingdom for higher education. This initiative is part of a broader vision to develop human capital and drive economic growth in the state.

The scholarships, which cover tuition, living expenses, and travel costs, are designed to provide beneficiaries with access to world-class education, enabling them to acquire the skills needed to contribute to the development of Ebonyi upon their return.

Governor Nwifuru plans to expand this program to benefit 8,000 Ebonyi citizens by the end of his tenure, reflecting his commitment to creating a skilled workforce capable of addressing the challenges facing the state.
